Will this Jeep start after sitting for 12 years?

It’s time for another Jeep video! Actually, this is well overdue; I’ve been rather distracted as of late. My wife gave birth to our first child in mid-June, and I was focusing on the pregnancy and now our son instead of on YouTube videos. But it was finally time to get back in the shop.

In this new video, I’m back working on Project Necromancer after my wife threatens to have it hauled off and scrapped if I don’t do something with it. That gave me the motivation I needed to jump back into the fold with the grease, dirt, and wrenches. I was originally going to work on the interior of the Jeep first, but my wife’s ultimatum made me change gears and see if I could get the motor running. To my knowledge, it has not run in at least twelve years, but I was confident in the Jeep’s 4.0-liter inline-six engine due to it’s well-documented reputation.

Did it let me down? Find out by checking out the video! 😉

Let me know what you think of it!

This poorly neglected 1990 Jeep Cherokee XJ has sat for 12 years. Can I get it started?
